About RHVTV's "Conservators"

The Story

"I am a guardian of the Forest.

I am a soldier against Darkness,

and a protector of the Light.

I am a Conservator."

Since the beginning of time, Light and Darkness have been at war with one another. Six Forests, hidden across the planet, act as the battleground.

The philosophical battle between Light and Darkness becomes physical as generations of Conservators, those chosen to protect the Light and the Forests which house it, must fight off rising forces of Darkness, led by the King of Dark Spirits, Mortalitus.

From the distant past, to colonial times, to the present day, forces from both within the Forests as well as the outside world threaten to destroy all that we know.

Whether they are a young woman in love, a Revolutionary War soldier, a scientist, or a college student, the Conservators must face the threat of their generation and protect the Light, whatever the cost.

A History Behind the Scenes

RHVTV is a production studio which was founded in 2008. They have produced countless short films with their ensemble cast, as well as several original web series, including "Corruption", "Live or Die", and "Flat Stanley".

"Conservators" is by and far RHVTV's most ambitious project. An RHVTV original film series, "Conservators" was created by Jack Dalton and Jenna Phelan in 2012. Production for the series began in June of that year.

The first phase of the story played out over the course of two short films, a seven-part miniseries, and a feature-length final film. "Conservators I: Tricks of the Mind" and "Conservators II: Exodus" both premiered at St. Michael's Parish Center in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts on February 16, 2013. The miniseries, "Conservators: Histories", released monthly between January and July 2014. On September 18, 2014, "Conservators III: Light and Darkness", written by Jack Dalton and Sammie Dibbern, received a theatrical premiere at Greenfield Garden Cinema in Greenfield, Massachusetts.

Four years later, Jack Dalton and Sammie Dibbern returned to the world of "Conservators" once more with a fourth installment, "Conservators IV: Fracture". Production for the film ran from October 2018 to June 2019, with a largely new cast made up of several actors from Northeastern University in Boston. The film is expected to be released in early 2020.
